This is done for http://www.48hourfilm.com/ project. Filmmaking teams have just one weekend(48 Hours)
to make a short film.All creativity—writing, shooting, editing and adding a musical soundtrack
must occur in a 48 hour window beginning Friday evening at 7 and ending Sunday at 7.
The following week, the completed films are screened to an eager audience.
Each team must select the genre for its movie in a random drawing 15 minutes before the start of
the competition.In addition, teams are given a character, a prop and a line of dialogue that must
appear in their film. Sounded interesting.But I was reluctant, I wanted to make movie at my own pace.
But I signed up on my friend’s request.

We got lucky, we got the Horror genre. We had some horror story line in mind.
On Friday night we started developing the story.
I argued a lot with my friend on the script that night till 4:00 AM Saturday.
The story happens on the highway in the middle of the night in a car. We had to wait for
the Sun to go down,it was summer and sun stayed up till 9:00 PM.
We didn’t have any generator or battery powered lights, we had to bounce the lights from the car
headlights to get the light.
We really had tough time with lighting, cops, people in the neighborhood. In that rush,
we missed some scenes, some scenes
Camera didn’t get at all. We did our best to get the shots.

Sunday morning I started editing, the movie should be with in 7 mins or else it will not be qualified.
We had really tough time, so many scenes looked so bad because of light.

Did what we could do , color corrected, reused some scenes..we had to submit it by Sunday 7:30 PM,
but we finished the editing at 8:30 PM.
So, we were so screwed up, we were disqualified for the competition. We Submitted at 10:00 PM.

But they would screen the movie in theater if submitted before 12:00 midnight.

After I finished the movie, I asked my wife to watch and review it..She ripped the movie apart..
didn’t like it at all..and didn’t understand a bit.
It was like Memento and Pulp Fiction to her..

I felt bad..but we went to the movie..they showed 13 movies that night and surprisingly..
our movie didn’t look bad at all..
compared to others..ours was SECOND BEST.

After that, I re-edited the movie added some more scenes and made it 12 mins  , ..now she liked it?

I know , some scenes looked Pink and reddish..those were sht in the day and
I couldn't do better job color
correcting them to look Night..sorry about that..I couldn't get all the actors together again..
